Please read this policy alongside your product details or written service agreement. Your statutory rights remain protected, and updates do not retrospectively change existing agreements.
Scope
This policy explains how BergMetric handles information in website enquiries, bookings, purchases and agreed projects. We follow applicable privacy requirements and use information for the purposes described here.
Information we handle
Enquiries may include your name, contact details, organisation, service interests and message. Bookings include appointment and time-zone details. Stripe processes purchase contact and payment information. Project information is limited to what is necessary for the agreed work. Hosting, font and diagnostic services may receive technical information such as IP addresses and browser details.
Enquiries and bookings
The enquiry form opens an email draft on your device. Your enquiry reaches BergMetric only when you send it; the website does not store form entries. Google Calendar manages discovery appointments and shares booking details with the organiser. Review Google’s privacy information when booking.
Payments and household information
Couples system purchases open an external Stripe payment page. Stripe handles payment details under its own privacy terms; BergMetric uses relevant purchase information to fulfil the order and arrange setup. We do not collect card details through website forms. Your household financial information remains yours. Do not send banking passwords, tax file numbers or unnecessary sensitive records. Agree an appropriate channel for setup information.
Use and sharing
We use necessary information to respond to requests, organise appointments, deliver agreed work, administer payments, address concerns and meet legal obligations. We share information only with relevant authorised providers, advisers or where legally required. We do not sell client project data or reuse it for unrelated demonstrations, case studies or AI training without appropriate authority.
Providers and overseas processing
Website hosting is provided through Lovable. Google services support fonts, email and bookings; Stripe handles the linked checkout. Provider services may involve overseas processing. We do not promise exclusively Australian storage. Project-specific providers, data access and handling arrangements are agreed before confidential information is shared.
Marketing and AI
Marketing is optional. Selecting an enquiry preference does not automatically subscribe you to a mailing list. Commercial messages must include appropriate identification and an unsubscribe method. No customer-facing AI processes enquiries on this website. Any project AI use requires an agreed purpose, approved provider, suitable data handling and human oversight.
Security, retention and your choices
Project access, sharing and retention are agreed according to the information and work involved. We keep information for service, legal and legitimate operational needs, subject to applicable law. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion. We may need proportionate identity checks, and will explain legal retention requirements or provider limitations. This policy does not claim independent security certification.
Incidents and concerns
Contact us promptly about suspected unauthorised access or privacy concerns, without attaching sensitive records. We assess issues, coordinate appropriate containment and follow applicable notification duties. Where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme applies, assessments and required notices follow its requirements. See our Complaints Policy for response targets and escalation options.
